Mission Statement:

The Environmental, Health and Safety Department is committed to providing the students, faculty, staff, visitors, and community with exemplary services that promote a healthy and safe environment for conducting research, teaching, and administrative activities. The Environmental, Health and Safety Department develops, implements, and oversees safety programs to prevent staff, faculty, students, and visitors from any recognized hazards that they may encounter at the University. E, H&S Department is responsible for assuring TAMU-CC's compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

The goals of our department are:

• recognize, evaluate, and control hazards at TAMU-CC
• foster an environmentally friendly, safe, and healthy campus for conducting research, work, and learning activities.
