Online Utility Cart Training
Please review training materials for each section. For assistance, please call Ext. 5555.
Step 1: Review all materials in the "Cart Training Portfolio". You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the file.
Step 2: Take and pass the online "Utility Cart Training Quiz" with 100% correct.
Step 3: Have your supervisor complete the "Supervisor Acknowledgment Form"
Step 4: Supervisor must submit via e-mail to: ehs@tamucc.edu
Step 5: Once E,H&S receives your quiz score (showing 100% passing grade), and the form from your supervisor, you will become an approved campus utility cart driver.

If your department is looking purchase a Utility Vehicle/Cart, a PURCHASE REQUEST FORM must be filled out and sent to EHS@tamucc.edu

The Hazard Communication Program protects the health and safety of public employees by ensuring they are provided information, training and appropriate personal protective equipment to before they may be exposed to hazardous chemicals in their workplaces. Bloodborne Pathogens training is required of all employees who have occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials (OPIM). Understanding responsibilities of the DPS, the THECB, and the public or private institutions of higher education for maintaining chemical precursors and chemical laboratory apparatus used in education or research activities of institutions of higher education.
