Environmental Management System (EMS)

An EMS is the management system that addresses the environmental impact of an organization’s processes, products and services on the environment. The EMS provides a formalized structure for ensuring that environmental concerns are addressed and met, and works to both control an organizations significant environmental effect and achieve excellence in regulatory compliance.

TAMUCC is currently planning to achieve the ISO 14001 EMS (specification and guidance for use) certification.
